Provider Selection Regime Wales

Submission of provider representations in relation to procurement of relevant health services under the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025 (the PSR Wales) for advice from the Wales Procurement Review Unit (WPRU).

Advice:

Advice on provider representations offered by the WPRU is not legally binding and is provided in an advisory capacity only.

Decisions from the WPRU rely on the provision of full, accurate and timely responses to information requests within specified deadlines.

Acceptance to review provider representations is at the sole discretion of the WPRU and only when representations meet the acceptance criteria.

Before requesting advice from the WPRU, providers must make representations to the relevant authority undertaking the procurement and be in receipt of the relevant authority’s further decision. Requests to the WPRU to review provider representations must be made within five working days of receiving the relevant authority’s decision (starting the day after the relevant authority has made and communicated its final decision).
 
By submitting representations, providers agree that they have read, understood and accepted the WPRU prioritisation criteria and operating procedures for review of decisions under the Provider Selection Regime Wales. Providers also consent to provide information to the WPRU and understand that any information may be included in the publication of any advice provided by the WPRU.

A reference number will be provided when you submit your representation. Please use this on all correspondence.

Important - information submission requirements:

a)    completion of this form in full – please insert N/A if a question is not applicable;
b)    attach a copy of the provider’s representations to the relevant authority
c)    attach a copy of the final written response from the relevant authority on the provider’s representation

Representation to the WPRU will not be considered unless all information is provided as set out in a), b) and c) above.
