Survey on the Impact of the Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015: a landmark piece of legislation of which the purpose is to improve:
- arrangements for the prevention of gender-based violence, domestic abuse and sexual violence
- arrangements for the protection of victims of gender-based violence, domestic abuse and sexual violence
- support for people affected by gender-based violence, domestic abuse and sexual violence
We want to gather examples of where the implementation of the Act has had a positive impact for victims and survivors of VAWDASV in Wales.
Your responses will remain confidential unless you provide consent for us to contact you regarding case studies.
The VAWDASV Blueprint’s Sustainable Whole System Approach (SWSA) workstream has recently collected views on how well the current system and processes for needs assessments, strategic planning and procurement are operating, in the context of delivering the aims of the VAWDASV (Wales) Act 2015. The survey considered the strengths to build on within the existing system, and the challenges and barriers that need to be addressed.
This survey is intended to complement to the SWSA survey, but focuses on the more general positive outcomes of the Act and capturing examples of the impact of the Act.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
