Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) is the independent inspectorate and regulator of health care in Wales. We regulate and inspect NHS services and independent healthcare providers to highlight both areas requiring improvement and areas of good practice.
About the survey
HIW is seeking to gather information about your experience of working in your organisation. The overall results will be used alongside any evidence collected through our fieldwork as part of our overall findings.

Speaking up to keep people safe
Speaking up is an essential element of a safe culture and should be ‘business as usual’ for everyone working in health and social care, regardless of their role. HIW has a special role for people who are thinking about raising concerns they have about wrongdoing in healthcare in Wales. We will listen to your concern and explain to you how we can help. We may need to pass on the information you give us to another organisation or regulatory body, if it is more appropriate for them to look into the concern.
